Supervised contact at Diversity House
Our supervised contact facility in Brent provides both
a venue and a supervised contact facilitator. There are 2
rooms available at the venue for contact bookings, one is
decorated specifically for younger children and the other
provides a homely lounge type environment. There is access
to kitchen and toilet facilities and a family garden which
would be suitable during the summer period as a venue.
It has a trampoline, a sandpit area amongst other garden
toys and also a rabbit and a guinea pig.
We recognise the importance for looked after children in
having contact with parents, siblings and other significant
people. We aim to promote quality contact which enables
families to spend time together talking and playing with
their children in a safe, relaxed, homely environment.
We understand the role of supervised contact in both
assessing parenting skills/interaction, and facilitating
rehabilitation where appropriate.
Contact facilities are available from 10am – 6.30pm Monday – Friday and 10am – 5pm Saturdays.
